This show was recorded in 1994 on a soundstage at Sony Music Studios for the television show MTV Unplugged. Dylan is in terrific voice and seems to be enjoying himself throughout something of a departure. He plays guitar on all songs, accompanied by a second guitar, upright bass, dobro / pedal steel, and keyboards. New songs (including the excellent and previously unrecorded war protest song John Brown) plus new arrangements of classics keep the show fresh. The sound is excellent!
