Britney Spears ft. Madonna - Me against the music 1080i

"Me Against the Music" is a song performed by Britney Spears featuring Madonna. The song was written by Spears and Madonna along with Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Penelope Magnet, Thabiso Nikhereanye, Terius "The-Dream" Nash, and Gary O'Brien for Spears' fourth studio album In the Zone.

The video was directed by Paul Hunter and produced by Veronica Zelle. The video itself reached number one on the TRL Countdown and stayed there for a record-breaking twenty consecutive days. However, the record was beaten in 2005 by Kelly Clarkson with her hit "Behind These Hazel Eyes". It was filmed from October 8-10, 2003 at Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, New York.

The video starts with Britney parking her car and going into a club. It then starts to show Spears in a maze of wood walled hallways while she walks down the stairs, and into the club. It then flashes to Madonna who, is in a dense room watching Spears from a small TV. Spears then starts singing and walking around the club while Madonna continues observing her. After awhile Madonna and Spears both walk up to a wall, (they are both standing on one side of the wall) and start dancing. Spears and Madonna then start going into the club and down the straw hallways, Madonna then drops her cane (which Spears later finds) and escapes into a white room covered in gold leaves. She then takes off her jacket and starts swinging on a swing, while Spears is then showed in a dark room dancing. Spears then ends up going into a dense room similar to the one Madonna was observing her in, and then the 2 start crawling and moving across a bed with no matress. Madonna then sings a line from the song and dissapears from the room. A security camera then shows Madonna in the original dense room with her cane and starts singing her lines. It then shows Madonna in the white room swinging and Spears in the straw hallways. Madonna and Spears are then shown again racing along in the maze. Spears then enters the room Madonna was swinging in, and finds her jacket, which she then begins to race down the hallways while Madonna begins dancing in her observation room. Britney then runs into the dense room where Madonna is and throws her against a wall, and as Britney goes to kiss her, Madonna fades away.
